WE BELIEVE GOD'S TRUTH
ALL SCRIPTURE IS GOD INSPIRED AND GOD BREATHED
Scripture tells us in 2 Timothy 3:16, "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:". The Bible is the undeniable, authoritative, inerrant Word of God.
TRIUNE GOD
We believe there is one God, manifested in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost. Scripture tells us in 1 John 5:7, "For there are three that bear record in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one." Matthew 28:19 says, "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:"
JESUS CHRIST IS THE SON OF GOD,
BORN OF A VIRGIN BIRTH
Jesus Christ was born of a virgin, the son of God in the flesh, who led a sinless life. He was as much God as if he were not man and as much man as if he were not God. Scripture tells us in Matthew 1:20-21, 20 "But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost." 21 "And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins."
DEATH, BURIAL AND RESSURECTION
OF JESUS CHRIST, "THE GOSPEL"
Jesus Christ, who was God in the flesh, died on the cross where he shed his blood for our sins, was buried in a tomb and rose again three days later. Conquering death and the grave, he ascended into Heaven and sat down at the right hand of the Father. Scripture reads in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4, "Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:"
Scripture tells us in John 11:25, "Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:".
TO BE "SAVED", BELIEVE IN CHRIST FOR SALVATION
Salvation comes by grace, through faith in belief of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Scripture tells us in Acts 16:31, "And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house." John 6:47 reads, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.”
Ephesians 2:8-9 reads, 8 "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.". Salvation is the gift of God and cannot be earned by any good works. Some of us folks, even the Elect (believers), are falsely led to believe we may get to heaven on old traditions, rituals, man-made practices, and our own merit; but none of us are good enough to do so. That's why we all need Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.
Scripture tells us in John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.". Jesus redeemed us through his shed blood and took away the sins of the world; past, present and future. Ephesians 1:7 reads, "In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;". Believe in the finished work of the cross!
ONCE SAVED, YOU ARE "BORN AGAIN"
A person, once saved, is always saved, and becomes spiritually renewed, indwelled by the Holy Spirit, born again a child of God. Scripture tells us in John 3:3, "Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.". John 3:6 reads, "That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.".
Galatians 3:26 tells us, "For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.". In 2 Corinthians 5:17, "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.".
Ephesians 4:30 reads, "And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.".
WATER BAPTISM
Baptism is an outward show of faith in belief of Jesus Christ. By being raised up out of water, baptism expresses our new life in Jesus Christ. Scripture reads in Matthew 28:19, "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:".
ONE MEDIATOR BETWEEN GOD AND MEN
Scripture tells us in 1 Timothy 2:5, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;". John 1:1, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." John 1:14, "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth."
RAPTURE OF HIS CHURCH
We believe that Christ will remove His church from earth prior to the seven year Tribulation. In 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, scripture reads, 16 “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:".
17 "Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord."
